Don't go for lunch or dinner! It has gone so far down hill. Food is not good at all and prices are extremely high. Think can of spaghetti o's for filet mignon price.

We have eaten at Pete’s many times and loved it. However, on our last visit we had great service, but the raviolis were so disappointing. They were not their original homemade style and had very little filling inside. We are hoping this is temporary and they bring back their original raviolis soon.
The peach beer is GREAT & they have a good bar menu, perfect for a light solo dinner.
It's one of the best places around to eat great food. The prices are a little high at first glance but the amount of food you get will usually feed us for 2 meals. Private rooms for family or perfect for a great date night! The service and people are amazing! Definitely a must whenever your in the area. Call ahead and they have take out too.
Great food, great beer, private rooms and a lot of history in the "Little Italy" town of Krebs, Oklahoma. The lamb fries are definitely on point!
Love the privacy, atmosphere, food and friendly staff
Food was great, service was great! I was most impressed at how they're working to keep customers safe from the virus. They are doing a great job with everything.
The food is over the top and lots and lots of it. The entire restaurant is spotlessly clean. The wait staff is wonderful.
This is my all-time favorite place to eat Italian food. They also have intimate rooms for your small group.
Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Had the lunch chicken parmesan. The “setup” is pretty unique to me. Having spaghetti, 1 ravioli, and 1 meatball included with my entree was a new experience for me. The spaghetti and ravioli were cooked al dente and the meatball was very tasty. I loved my entire meal including the optional salad which included 2 olives, 2 banana peppers, and 2 slices of cheese. Oh, and the bread is fabulous. I hear the dinner setup is quite the experience. I can’t wait to try dinner next time I’m in town. Definitely recommend.
Love the atmosphere and the sauce at Pete's. I miss their hand-made ravioli.
This is my favorite Italian place to eat. The reason for 4 stars is because they changed their ravioli, and it’s not a good change.
Such a wonderful dining experience. Our family had our own room and table. Full array dining.
Over-rated, over-priced - one and done for my husband and I. Very bland. If this is authentic Italian food, we’ll stick to the American Italian version. Sorry guys, being honest here. Oh and - playing alternative rock on the speaker system? Hmmmm.....
The food was great. Literally the best meatballs I have ever eaten. The service was top notch with food coming quick, hot, and fresh. Our server was on point. With that said the history of this place is amazing. A kid from Italy who worked in the coal mines, learned to brew from Choctaw Native Americans, and created CHOC beer and famous food. Krebs has a lot of cool restaurants and stores. Worth a visit! FYI things are served family style and it can be very pricey but still fun and great!
It was amazing as always. Great food great service
After hearing so many great things about this icon restaurant for so many years I was terribly disappointed by my visit. The appetizer had a hair on it and was extremely underwhelming in appearance. (Our waitress did not apologize about the hair) The salad was very lacking. It was only iceberg lettuce and was literally swimming in dressing. The serving sizes of pasta are very generous which is terrific but the sauce is lackluster. The meatballs are also large in size but unfortunately tasteless. The ravioli was undercooked and also flavorless. I don't know if this was an unusual dinner experience but I don't plan on going back. I feel that the food was really overpriced for the taste. However, the little rooms are just charming and offer a wonderful setting for privacy or any outing.
With its history and charm, no visit to Southeast Oklahoma is complete without a visit to Pete's Place in Krebs. The family-run restaurant greets you quickly and will guide you to private dining rooms where business has been conducted over fine Italian food for many years. Enjoy a Choc beer at its birthplace, and read the Pritchard family's history as you prepare for a full course menu. Old fashioned Italian bread, spaghetti, meatballs, and your entree of choice. The adventurous soul must try the lamb fries flown in fresh daily from New Zealand sheep farms.
They were very busy and we had a party 20. Service was very friendly, accurate and prompt. Steak was cooked correctly and very tasty. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone that enjoys good food.
This place is consistent and amazing. Staff is always great. They take care of you like if you were sitting at grandmas table. Food is always great. If you go away hungry it’s definitely your fault. I stop in when ever I can it’s kinda hard tho because I live in northern North Dakota lol.
We liked it! So much food! So much history! The server (normally on of the bartenders) was SO nice and friendly!!! A little expensive but pretty much worth it for the amount of food!
This is more of a review of the bar area of Pete's, as that's where I drank and dined for the evening. The bartender was helpful and observant, offering to answer any questions about their beer selection (which is enormous with local Tulsa/Krebs brews) as well as giving tips on meal choices. Opting to go with the chicken parmesan, ordering a twirl of spaghetti with meatball and ravioli, along with a house salad. The only disappointing part of my meal was the salad, as while the salad dressing was tasty, the rest was made up of limp iceberg and jarred cocktail olives. The red sauce with the spaghetti and chicken however, more than made up for the lackluster greens.Definitely a must hit for Italian food lovers in the area.
I went here about two months ago during fall break. I loved the food and couldn’t get enough bread. I enjoyed having our own room to eat in. I learned about this place last year in a history class and I’d recommend that everyone research it, it’s very interesting. I’m hoping to go back soon and try something different!
Food was great service not so good and it wasn't crowded.
Everything we order was incredible. Very filling food and large portions. Italian sausage was perfect!
So much good food! We were not disappointed!
Best Italian dining experience I have ever had, period. The private rooms were also an amazing touch.
The food here is wonderful! I love the individualized dining rooms. It adds a familial atmosphere to the place.
It was a spectacular bonanza of good food and wonderful family friendly atmosphere. My best friend got married here tonight and they made the venue special just for them and at least 30 of us. We all were being treated to fine dining, treated like kings and queens by the customer service and not one of us has room for more... then you allay had to go boxes after that too! And right round the corner is a drinks lounge to for those who partake. The entire evening was classy.
The food is exceptional, the experience is 5 star, the hospitality is top notch, and their staff go above and beyond! I HIGHLY recommend a trip to Pete’s Place for the best Italian food in Oklahoma!
Very disappointed. I understand things have changed due to COVID 19 but that should not hender someones customer service skills in order to waitress. I wish I could of known the waitress's name to express my disappointment to management but she never even told us her name. She never asked if we had ever been to Pete's Place or what brought us in. Nothing about the menu or family style was ever explained to us. Our order was taken, food brought out, checked on us once and the check was brought to us all in a 30 minute time frame. The speaks volume when expecting a nice, family style, authentic italian dinner.
Everything was incredible. My favorites were the ravioli and meatballs.
I don't see how others are having a problem with this place. Everything was awesome! We had chicken parmesan, chicken Alfredo, meatballs, ravioli, salad and bread sticks. We loved every minute of it. The waitress took really good care of us and checked in every few minutes. We spent $80 but we went for our anniversary so it was a great experience! We will be back!
Great food, and a lot of it! Service was excellent. Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I would have taken a pic of the food when it hit the table, but I think this pic says a lot, nothin left to take home.
Italian family dinner. Need I say more?Seriously though, if you eat and Pete's a d leave hungry or without leftovers, it's on you. The food here is so good!
We love this place, drive for hours and go out of our way just to eat here. Today I am disappointed for the first time. They have changed the ravioli, which was my favorite item on the menu, and it’s not a good change in my opinion. I hope they change it back!! I will always eat here and live the food but I really want the ravioli back! 💙💙
Overpriced for sure , bland ravioli tasted like the same stuff from sams club had a terrible wang lasagna was horrible 3 people $100 no thanks
Not the place I remember. Raviolis are different and not in a good way. Meatballs were burnt. I've always loved Pete's and we went out of our way to stop there on our trip back to Oklahoma from Florida. Not the place I remember. Will not return.
Wonderful Italian food. They bless VETERANS with discounts. Service staff is very nice
The dining experience is great! The food is quick and very tasty!
Great atmosphere especially with the small dinning rooms. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of food for the price. Our waitress Sharron was awesome. Sharron would be the definition on extremely great customer service. This was our first visit, but not our last. Great place. Thanks Sharron. 🌹
Good food and restaurant's near 100 year history in "Little Italy" of Oklahoma, near McAlester. Nice wine selection.
Me and wife came on vacation and on last night wanted a romantic dinner and we got it here. Service was great, atmosphere spectacular, where I saw downfall was that food was a bit pricey (me and wife ended up with a $75 bill for decent sized steak, ravioli, and 3 beers) and the spaghetti that came with it was OK. Sauce and meatballs tasted store bought. We did pass kitchen and I know it wasn't based on what I seen but it just didn't seem worth the price. Steak in my opinion didn't stand out as I hoped, char was nice but when I think of a good steak it is one that I do not hope to have A1 or 57 to assist with lack of flavor. Lots of grissel as well. I do highly encourage trying local beer though, the "Miners" version which was a unique blonde was fantastic and had a nice hoppy flavor.
Great place, bring your appetite !! You will need it with the plethora of food
Amazing experience and incredible food! If your near, it is a must try place!
Absolutely love Pete's!!! Great staff and delicious food 😋
We drove down to McAlester and decided to stop in. I think it’s really neat that you’re separated from other diners (at least we were in our own little room I’m not sure what the rest of the restaurant looks like) our child was able to get up and walk around the little room without disturbing anyone else. I ordered the Italian sausage and my husband got the steak and shrimp. Every entree comes with a salad, anti pasta, garlic bread, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs served family style. The salad is just lettuce and dressing, but I really enjoyed it. The garlic bread was great too. The spaghetti and meatballs were incredible. My Italian sausage was so flavorful and cooked just how I like it and the shrimp was the same. The price wasn’t too bad for everything you get. There’s a kids menu, but you don’t have to order for kids they can just partake in the family style sides that are brought out.
Great food! Also the private dining rooms are nice. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. If you're not in the area take a trip there well worth it!
If you go, you have to try their home beer, The Choc. It is good. They are very generous with every order. Prices are good also.
Went to Pete’s tonight, the food was good. The service was the worst. We were seated, about 5 minutes later a lady brought us some water, she was not our waitress, she stated our waitress would be with us shortly. Then another lady brought us salad and bread. Finally our waitress shows up, but didn’t know we were her customers, she figured it out. Didn’t ask if we wanted anything else to drink, rushed us to take our orders. We sit there for a little while, then comes our pasta, ask if we if we wanted clean plates, which we did. Sat there awhile longer and out come our food still waiting on plates to eat our pasta. She acted like we were a bother to her. That is how the whole night was, doubt we will go back. The service just was awful.
